The April 1st, 2009 will stay forever on fans memories in Switzerland, but it is also an important date for Powerchair Football international development. On November 1st, 2nd and 3rd, FIFPA went to Switzerland, a new FIPFA associate member, to promote and develop Powerchair Football. The delegation included 8 players (7 France, 1 USA), 2 coaches (1 France, 1 USA), 2 referees (USA), Europe Zone President and FIPFA President who also is Director of the Development Commission. During 2 days, the delegation presented all the aspects of Powerchair Football: Federation organizational system, refereeing, equipment, team management, coaching, and playing.
